The Rock On Cocoons Magnetic Shield offers protection against electromagnetic radiations (EMR). Along with the development of modern technologies, has grown our exposure to this new kind of impalpable and omnipresent pollution. EMR have different frequencies and varying strength from light to radio-waves and are produced by most of household electrical appliances, transports, wireless communication systems such as 5G and satellite earth communications, ultra-high-tension transmission lines. The scientific community is still debating on the potential negative consequences on our health since there is no clear evidence. Nevertheless, the WHO recommends to reduce our exposure to high frequencies radiations. NASA has several programs studying EMRs to protect astronauts from them as a basic condition of survival in space given the absence of atmosphere to filter EMRs from the Sun. The NASA Technology Transfer program has leveraged some radiation shield innovations used to protect sensitive spacecraft electronics into radiation protective clothing and other applications.

The Rock On Cocoons Magnetic Shields includes an ultra-thin innovative organic textile around the head area shielding a wide spectrum of radiations. It filters up to 99.9% of EMR from 700 to 3500 MHertz which represents emissions from Wi-Fi, wireless communication and all data networks including 5G. Each textile production is carefully tested by an independent laboratory to certify its shielding performance.  The textile is made from organic cotton – linen, stainless steel threads and technical polyester fibre. Its EMR shielding capabilities comes from the weaving technique, the usage of Natural fibres with stainless steel to create what Scientists call a Faraday cage effect. Positively charged ions will create a conductive field and reflects EMFs away from the area. These complex textiles are now commonly used in various medical and scientific industries.
